Sedlak Officer Steve Gau - Community Resource Officer (937) 847-6611 The Miamisburg Police Department is a full service agency that is committed to serving the citizens of Miamisburg. We offer several programs that include D.A.R.E., School Resource Officer and a Community Resource Officer (CRO). The duties of the CRO include crime prevention, public information duties, and business liaison. Under the crime prevention heading, we also offer: - Tours of the Police Department to local civic groups - Provide speakers for your organization - Ident-A-Kid - Third grade seatbelt/school safety patrol program - Crime prevention tips and brochures - Safety presentations tailored to your needs - Neighborhood Watch programs Officer Gau is a veteran officer with over 18 years of experience. Officer Gau is a state certified field training officer, a technical accident investigator and a DUI enforcement/standardized field sobriety instructor. Officer Gau is a member of the Ohio Crime Prevention Association and SAFE (Safety Association for Education). Additionally, Officer Gau is a member of the Miamisburg Police Department’s Honor Guard Unit.
